    Statistician with a research focus on modelling environmental extremes, including their frequency, severity, societal impacts, and implications for the development of adaptation and mitigation strategies. Leads the Environmental Extremes theme of the Institute for Mathematical Innovation.

    Mathematician specialising in applied mathematics, with industrial and environmental applications. Particular interests in fluid mechanics, asymptotic analysis, mathematical modelling, and hydrology.
